Samarpan Trust

In 2018, a young girl named Puja was brought to us by her mother. Puja was a mentally challenged girl who was severely neglected by her parents. Puja was 18 years old, but weighed only 38lbs.

It was obvious Puja was in need of care, medical attention and protection. However, Samarpan Home is a home for boys with special needs. Therefore, seeing Puja's desperate need, on that day itself, Samarpan initiated Puja's Daycare for Girls with Special Needs.

Puja was given medical care and was surrounded with constant love. As a result, she began to flourish in the daycare. Today, Puja has gained enough strength to walk on her own and has become fond of dancing. She is a happy girl, with lots of love for everyone she meets.

Because of our encounter with Puja, now many girls with special needs are receiving the love and care and special education they need and deserve.
