Samarpan Trust is actively involved in COVID-19 relief efforts through the distribution of “relief packs” to migrant families in our locality.

Samarpan Trust has distributed a total of 20 tonnes of relief materials, at a total cost of 6 lakh rupees over the period from April to June and ongoing.

This program was initiated to support the migrant laborer families which were stuck in our locality without any money or work. We were able to touch the lives of nearly 1500 families through our relief distribution. The program was carried out in a structured manner by maintaining a database and a delivery schedule to ensure efficiency and impact.

The families of all the students in our Daycare Program were also provided with relief materials during the pandemic. The relief materials included rice, atta, Mustard oil, dals, sugar, salt, vegetables and soap.

Medical supplies were also provided to the children and families as per need.

20,000 Sanitary pads were distributed to various women throughout the pandemic to ensure their hygiene and dignity.

Our relief program was able to protect the life and dignity for such people who were stuck here without anyway out or any access to money.
